The Brief
Through most of 2020, COVID-19 restrictions saw gymnastics clubs close their doors. But Gymnastics Victoria needed to keep communicating important news, progressive strategies and behind the scenes business tips on how its members could diversify their club. So, it was decided that a podcast would deliver members a flexible and convenient solution to stay in touch with GV.
The Approach
Gymnastics Victoria chose former Olympic gymnast, Ashleigh Brennan to host the podcast ‘The Rotation’. They also approached SoundCartel to record fortnightly, interview-style episodes, which took place either at our in-house studio or remotely. Each episode of ‘The Rotation’ is hosted on the Gymnastics Victoria website and distributed via the major podcast apps to make listening as easy as possible.
The RESULT
‘The Rotation’ has been extremely well received as a resource by club managers, co-ordinators and coaches, comments include, “The Rotation provided relevant and specific information for clubs and managers. It was particularly helpful for accessing information around marketing, mental health and HR support”. The board too, expressed delight with the professionalism of the podcast.
