Two podcasts shortlisted for the Australian Podcast Awards!

It’s an incredible honour to be recognised for our work in this rapidly growing industry. The Australian Podcast Awards celebrate the very best in podcasting across the country, showcasing the creativity, storytelling, and production talent of Australian audio creators.

This year, we are thrilled to have two of our podcasts make it to the final stages:

Best Kids Podcast Subaru

Subaru’s Great Australian Detour Kids’ Cast has reached the Top 4 in the Best Kids Podcast category. This podcast series, produced in partnership with Subaru Australia, takes families and young listeners on a journey to find out what really makes Australia great. As host, the inimitable Andrew Daddo, talks to the ‘Detour Kids’, and incredible guests across Australia, exploring our food, landscapes, native animals, The Dreaming and our bushranger past. The podcast delivers educational stories and fascinating insights in a super fun and interactive way.

best branded podcast

The Churchill Collective has been selected as one of the Top 5 finalists in the highly competitive Best Branded Podcast category. Produced in collaboration with The Winston Churchill Trust, and with one of Australia’s smartest presenters as host, Adam Spencer, this series dives deep into the stories of some of Australia’s brightest thinkers, their Churchill Fellowship journeys and as a result, their contributions to the community.

Being shortlisted for these awards highlights the dedication of our team and the power of podcasting to engage and inspire audiences of all ages. It also speaks volumes about the collaborative partnerships we’ve built with our clients. We extend our deepest thanks to Subaru Australia and The Winston Churchill Trust for choosing SoundCartel as their podcasting partner. It has been an absolute pleasure to bring these incredible stories to life.

What the Australian Podcast Awards Mean for Us

The Australian Podcast Awards are widely regarded as the highest accolade in the Australian podcasting scene, celebrating creativity and technical excellence across a range of genres. With categories that recognise both independent creators and brands, the competition is fierce, and to make the final shortlist is a testament to the impact our podcasts are making in the industry.

In the Best Kids Podcast category, we’re proud to be in the running with some of the most entertaining and educational podcasts for young listeners. Meanwhile, in the Best Branded Podcast category, the Churchill Collective has stood out among some of the biggest brand names, showcasing how branded podcasts can be both informative and captivating.
