James is an award-winning copywriter, sought-after speaker and radio consultant. He was Digital Media Director at Virgin Radio in London before joining the BBC where he was involved with BBC iPlayer for radio. These days James commentates on the current technological developments and future trends in the audio space.
Apart from the benefits of it being on demand, James says podcasting allows you to target an audience interested in a particular subject. Moreover, he says, podcasting is going to benefit from people increasingly consuming content on multiple platforms. And, he’s upbeat about Australia’s podcasting scene.
